Alejandro Maly (Buenos Aires, 1979) is the son of renowned argentine actor Arturo Maly. Graduated in the Image and Sound program at the U.B.A. in 2005 and since then he has worked continuously as a cameraman, editor and filmmaker for various productions.
He was assistant of the plastic artist Leandro Erlich with whom he co-directed a short film for Nikon company, and has made the montage of the documentary Lantec Chana.
In 2016 he released his first documentary feature film "Where are you, Buddy?" at BAFICI and other film festivals in other countries.
In 2018 he won the grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to carry out his second documentary, “Acid Mothers Reynols. Live and Beyond” (2020).
