Painter and filmmaker. Bachelor of Art with a mention in Painting from the Faculty of Art of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and Master in Visual Anthropology (PUCP). As a painter, he has four solo exhibitions in Lima and more than thirty collective exhibitions both in Peru and abroad: Chile, Colombia, Mexico, the United States, France and Germany.
As a filmmaker his second feature film is “Persona Perpetua” (2020), it received the "EVA - Excellence in Visual Anthropology Award" from the 16° Ethnocineca - International Documentary Film Festival Vienna (Austria). The film had its world premiere at the 18° Doclisboa (Portugal), followed by international film festivals such as Kasseler Dokfest (Germany), FIDBA (Argentina), Al Este (Peru), among others. His first feature film is “Connatural” (2018), it received the Best Project Award at the IV TransLAB of the Transcinema festival. The film had its world premiere at the 22° Jihlava IDFF (Czech Republic), followed by international film festivals such as Split Film Festival (Croatia), Black Canvas (Mexico), LASA (USA), among others. Previously, he made “Sinmute” (2008), a medium-length film presented at film festivals, exhibitions and cultural centers. He currently works as a teacher at the Faculty of Art and Design PUCP and on projects related to painting and cinema.
