Teresa Camou Guerrero

Teresa Camou Guerrero (Mexico)

Born and raised in México, Teresa has a B. A in Visual Arts and Social Science at Bennington College, US. She is the director and producer of Cruz (2021), Sunú (2015). She is the founder and director of El Teatro Indígena de la Sierra Tarahumara, (2002-2011), which has become a native Mexican puppet theatre company based in northern Mexico’s Sierra Madre. She is the author of Andares Cantares, a recompilation of scrips made by indigenous teenagers. She´s been part Bread and Puppet since 1996, based in Glover Vermont.
