Biography

George Agadjanean was born in 1986 in the city of Chisinau, Moldova. From his early childhood he was completely absorbed by the process of filmmaking, as his parents, graduates of VGIK , were trying to cultivate in their son the love for film and the process itself. At the age of 15 he was offered his first job at Moldova Film as stage assistant on the shooting stage. However, his first big project was Bucharest Express, a co-production of Moldova and USA, where George worked as lighter assistant, griper and dolly assistant. After this three months project he was frequently invited on the shooting stage for video clips or ads. In 2002 he enters the Academy of Music and Fine Arts, the faculty of TV Directing. In parallel with his studies, George is working for several private companies in the field of audiovisual production. The film San Sanych represents his diploma work, for his graduation in 2007. At the moment, George works in the Moldova Film studio as a director, developing several film projects.
