Biographie

Born in Budapest, grew up in Germany and growing older in Italy now. Filmmaking for her is conserving habits, culture and individuality that vanish more and more in these days. Ursula Ambach graduated in communications design at the Univesity of Applied Sciences in Würzburg. She also studied at the Bond University Film Department in Australia, got an internship at the Dunatáj Foundation and at the Production Mediopolis. She held a DAAD scholarship for one year at the Zelig Film School in Bolzano.

Chinese or Mongolian?

The French documentary film The Arrivals was screened at the Jihlava IDFF 2010. At the end of the festival, it was selected as the best film of the travelling Doc Alliance Selection, winning the prestigious Doc Alliance Award. After its successful festival tour, the film opens the doors to a place where the clash of civilizations is a daily routine to online spectators as well.
