Ada Bligaard Søby was born 1975 in Denmark. She studied School of Visual Arts in New York and Fatamorgana, the Danish School of Art Photography. She is also a member of the alternative film school Super16.
Her documentary Rome, NY was selected for Rotterdam International Film Festival and New York Video Festival. The documentary American Losers was selected for competition at Nordic Panorama and CPH:DOX.
