Alejandro Fernándes Mouján

Biographie

Alejandro Fernández Mouján was born in 1952 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He started to work in film industy in 1980 as a technician and camera assistent. In 1987 he produced and directed his first documentary film called Banderas de humo. Since 2006 he has been working as a director of Área Cine de Canal 7 of Public TV of Argentina.

The French documentary film The Arrivals was screened at the Jihlava IDFF 2010. At the end of the festival, it was selected as the best film of the travelling Doc Alliance Selection, winning the prestigious Doc Alliance Award. After its successful festival tour, the film opens the doors to a place where the clash of civilizations is a daily routine to online spectators as well.
