Biography

Jan Šípek was born in 1982. He was working for an independent Prague's radio station for five years, doing late-night interviews and audio-documentaries. Combining sound with photography, he started to study documentary film at Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague. In 2008 for half an year on exchange programme at Film and Television Faculty of India, Pune. He is looking after a couple of online projects (e. g. eldar.cz server), he writes, he’s programming and photographing.
