Biography

Frédérique Pollet Rouyer was born in 1970 in Paris. She studied first politics and law. She finished her law studies at faculty in Aix en Provence and recieved a title of Doctor of Laws. Her speciality is European audio-visual legislature. In parallel to her law studies she became interested in cinema and photography. She now works mostly as a photographer, videoartist and director of documentary films. Her last movie till the date 18 Years was awarded Special Mention of Jury at Visions du Reel 2009 in Nyon.
