Biography

Pavel Abrahám (born in 1978) graduated from Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design (AAAD) in Prague (departement of conceptual and intermedia work). In 2005 he went to Paris to ENSAD - École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs v Paříži for one year intership. He was also trainee at Centre of Audiovisual Studies at FAMU, Prague . He is director of awarded shorts Hlavní hvězdou jsou piva (2004) a Překlad (2005) and feature-length Česká RAPublika (2008) Meanwhile he has finishied his Phd at AAAD, Prague. Pavel Abrahám´s new film project (made together with scriptwriter Tomáš Bojar) "football" documentary Two Nil had its international premiere at IFF Karlovy Vary 2012.
