Julián d´Angiolillo (Argentina)

Bachelor in Visual Arts and Dramaturgy, Julián D'Angiolillo draws from a very early age, especially cartoons. Between 1996 and 2000 he co-edits the journal The Tripero. He develops storyboards and also Art Direction for cinema. He premiered his play The marine chemist in the theater IFT and published the book "booths" (National Playwriting Award and Mention at the German Rozenmacher Awards2001). Beginning in 2002 he directs videos independently. In 2004 he installed The Square’s courtyard of an abandoned factory, inaugurating a series of actions under the framework of "The New Town. With the support of the CGBA he published in 2006 an adaptation of his thesis, The move. In 2005 and 2006 he performed the audiovisual concert Luck Satellite within the Galileo Galilei Planetarium in collaboration with the group Gordoloco Trio. In 2007 he receives the Elena Poggi Award from the Association of Art Critics of Argentina. In 2008 he takes part of the Post It City / Occasional Cities in conjunction with the group Your salty parts. Then he develops a residency at the Cite des Arts in Paris with a video work that may be called The Real Estate Pilgrim's follies.
