Sergio Fergnachino (Turkey)

Sergio Fergnachino, author and director. Born in 1962, he holds an Art School diploma. He has written and directed “The enigma of sleep” (60’, 2004, co-produced by Zenit, Les Films d’Ici and ZDF-ARTE), which received the Special Jury Prize at the Torino Film Festival; Special Jury Prize at the Castellana Grotte International Festival of Scientific and Exploration Documentary, 2005; Prix Spécial Film de Recherche Médicale, Festival des Entretiens de Bichat, 2005. In 2006 he wrote and directed an episode of the collective documentary “Checosamanca?” (2006, 98’, co-produced by Eskimosa and RAI Cinema). In 2008 he co- directed with Enrico Cerasuolo “The hidden face of fear”, by Zenit Arti Audiovisive and Les Films d’Ici for Arte.
