Nicos Ligouris (Greece)

Nicos Ligouris was born in Athens in 1952. After three years of studying at the University of Athens, he wrote film reviews for the magazine „Synchronos Kinimatographos“ founded by Theo Angelopoulos. In 1974 he moved to Munich, where he graduated from the Academy for Television and Film. He has made several films and a series of portraits of directors such as Theo Angelopoulos, Jacques Doillon, Paul Vechiali and Alexander Sokurov. In 2022, his book “Eleven Summer Tales” was released in Athens by To Rodakio publications. He lives in Berlin.
