Maite Alberdi (Chile)

Maite Alberdi has a degree in Social Communication and is a graduate of the Catholic University of Chile with a degree in Aesthetics and Audiovisual Direction. As director, she is noted for a strong author signature that achieves an intimate portrait of the characters she develops, relating daily stories in small worlds. She teaches documentary filmmaking at different universities in Santiago, Chile and is co-author of the book “Teorias del Cine Documental Chileno 1957-1973” (Chilean Documentary Film Theories 1957-1973). At present, she is working in the post-production of her second feature film, “La Once”.
