Biography

Born 1953, Copenhagen.
Educated sounddesigner, Danish National Filmschool, 1982.
Iben started in 1996 directing documentaries beside doing sounddesign. Since her documentary Two Women on a Riverboat 1996, Iben has been focusing more on the directing and on documentaries. In 2001 she did My own Motorhorse and in 2006 Sound on Life which won a Robert for best short documentary i 2007.
Hello my name is Lesbian is Iben’s last production, a film that has screened more than 25 festivals all over the world, and won the Audience Award at CGLFF, 2009 in Copenhagen.
