Pablo Briones is a film director, film editor and cinematographer based in Geneva, Switzerland. Born in 1983 in Tucumán, Argentina. Bachelor's degree in Film Production at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (2005). Master's degree in Film Direction at ECAL / HEAD (2014). During his early film studies in Córdoba, he collaborated as a film curator and programmer for Cineclub La Quimera & Agencia Córdoba Cultura (2001-2005). Since 2008, in addition to his artistic projects, he has worked as Creative Head in a broadcast television company in Geneva. His short film "À beira de Lisboa" received the Silver Mikeldi award for documentary in the 55th edition of ZINEBI, Bilbao. He is currently directing a film workshop for master students of EPFL at HEAD, Haute École d'Art et Design de Genève.

The passage of time, of the river, of the clouds. Hundreds of people rush to board a boat that will take them to work. Behind them, the dormitory town: a space beyond time where landscape and identity are ardently shaped by the ambiguities of the world of work.
