Andrei SCHTAKLEFF (1979, France) was born in Paris and currently lives in Los Angeles. He co-directed his first film Exile and the Kingdom with Jonathan le Fourn. This documentary about the refugee camp at Sangatte, near Calais in France, premiered in 2008 at the film festival of Venice. The Magic Mountain is his second film.
