Biography

Linda Jablonská was born in 1979 in Prague. She graduated from Film and TV Faculty of Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague. Her diploma film Kupředu levá, kupředu pravá/ Left, Right, Forward! was released in cinema distribution and received notable audience recognition. Linda works often for Czech TV as a director of epizodes of tv documentary and publicistic series. She is also director of documentary films Vítejte v KLDR/ Welcome in North Korea and Horko v Česku/ Heat in the Czech Republic about public discussion concerning impacts of global change of climate. As a winner of audition of Vodafone charity foundation Linda spent whole year 2010 working for NGO Inventura. The result of her work is documentary Earthlings, Who are You Voting For? that was shot by people suffering from mental dificulties.
