Films for the event

Behind the fence

Za płotem (Orig.) / 2005 / Poland / 12 min

One of the main thrusts behind the making of the film is an attempt to return to the time of childhood, vacation, and hot summer.

The Unseen

Nespatřené (Orig.) / 1997 / Czech Republic / 53 min

Do really blind people know nothing about the world around them. The documentary record blind schoolchildren using cameras...

18 Years

18 ans (Orig.) / 2009 / France / 22 min

Through the character of Morgane, this film depicts the moment in life when a young woman - caught between adulthood and being a child - charges forward in life, armed with self-protection and carrying her baggage.

Squatterpunk intro

Iskwaterpangk (Orig.) / 2007 / Philippines / 79 min

Squatterpunk shows something of life in the slums in a quite special way. It shows how poor, forgotten and ignored children can have a good time.

Into the World

In die Welt (Orig.) / 2008 / Austria / 88 min

Nothings demonstrates the fragility of human life more clearly than the sight of a newborn child. And so the film Into the World begins, though slowly and quietly, with an alarming image: that of a gasping infant in an incubator.

The second strand of videos is more abstract and universal, dealing with cognitive, environmental and existential issues,” says the director about his works.
