We offer a selection of the most interesting Canadian documentaries from the database of the National Film Board. Until the end of the week, you have the opportunity to watch poetic, experimental and animated documentary films made in Canada. We will introduce, for instance, works by the noteworthy avant-garde author of film collages, Arthur Lipsett, and films such as Pour la suite du monde, Le règne du jour, Les voitures d'eau by the Canadian documentarist Pierre Perrault.
Doc Alliance Online Streaming
- For streaming, this site uses a smart player detecting Flash or native (so called HTML 5) video browser capability.
- Flash is currently preferred as it is safer to detect and covers more formats.
- On Apple devices typically, there's no Flash and the player switches to native video playback.
- The player look and behavior should be the same for both types.
- The stream video format we use is MP4/H.264. Unfortunately as of Oct 2012, IE 6/7/8, Mozilla-based browsers, such as Firefox, and Opera can't play it natively.
- The advantages of native playback are free seeking, less network and your system load, no dependency on an often buggy and insecure Flash.
- Click here to reload this page while skipping Flash to test whether your browser is capable of native video playback.

In 1989 the Berlin Wall comes down and leaves a large Galiny wasteland in the heart of the City. Young people from all over Europe pitch themselves into the \"no man\'s land\" left behind by history and fill it with the chaos of their existence, their desires, thein violence. At this time, artist and graduate anthropologist Ralph Marsault immerses himself into life in the \"Wagenburgen\" through his photographic and sculptural work to explore its essence: anti-fascist, anarchic, punk-rock, semi-nomadic. Today, almost 20 years onwards, Marsault returns to his protagonists, digging deeper, reminiscing, reflecting, what was and still remains at the roots of their chosen way of life. He is accompanied by Parisian director – and renowned visual artist – Victor Ede who draws a fascinating picture of a mysterious world in the midst of our society, exploring its edges, its past and present. Ralph Marsault serves as his medium.
