Recommend this film

The highway from Brno to Praha. People chosen at random muse on infinity and the beginning of the world. The director pushes drivers, gas-station and highway-hotel employees and residents of nearby villages to think about time, death, the universe and eternal return. Ordinary people and their everyday situations are relentlessly being confronted with timeless pondering and provocation to philosophize. Things embody and symbolize the ideas explored. In this film which steers between a sociological probe and a documentary essay, the highway itself becomes a metaphor of an eternal flow.
