Whereas repressive laws against illegals are multiplying, Matenin, a malian migrant, and two fellow countrymen, Abdoulaye and Gaye, try to elaborate their own way to resist. Every week, they go to a Theater workshop directed by Mayleh, a stage director. Together, they write a play inspired by their experiences. They all get involved in this project with a lot of motivation, in spite of a difficult daily life made by strike-pickets, long administratives procedures, literacy classes and their work as laborers.
