René is an incredible story of a young man accompanied by a film camera from the age of eighteen, on his life’s journey between prisons and short intermezzos outside and last but not least Cooking history - a portrait of different military cooks from all over Europe who served in various armies and have witnessed the European wars of the 20th century.
