A group of friends take their annual trip to a remote and secluded location to celebrate their friendship. Now they’re arriving for the 36th time, but this year is slightly different. Staňa lost his battle with cancer and now for the first time there is one less member in the group. In honour of their deceased friend the group kill and eat a lamb and make a toast to Staňa’s memory. Midway through the toast, Dalibor, who has been told he cannot drink alcohol by his doctor, deliberately spills his shot on the ground. Dalibor’s illness proves later on to be more serious than simply not being able to drink alcohol. A fact he can only hide from his friends for so long. Eventually he will have to explain the seriousness of his illness and the repercussions of this prompt the group to consider their own mortality.
