The film takes a look at the lifelike behavior of inanimate matter in the form of droplets, allowing us to observe a change in shape or collective behavior. These droplets, like the robots in the famous work R.U.R., are made of chemically synthesized matter that resembles living matter, and the film thus allows the viewer to empathize with the feelings of the mad scientist Rossum from Čapek’s play.
“Our film aims to pay tribute to pioneering ideas in the field of robotics and show new ways in which they can be used to create art.” J. Čejková
