ROAD TO NAHR AL BARED is a look to the situation of a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon through the testimonies of five refugees aged between 9 and 62. Yaser tells us that the fight broke out in the camp, home of 35,000 civilians. Raed, 9 years old, tries to forget everything that happened taking care of his newly purchased calf. Israa wants to be a teacher. Mustafa is learning to weld; he wants to find a job as soon as possible to help his family. Ali is 62 years old and sends a message of peace to the world, despite having no fixed place to sleep each night. Around them, there are a desolate environment that involves the characters and a school as the epicentre and narrative thread.
