This film comes from my study trip abroad. Before I set out, I had a nightmare about being devoured by an animal. I subsequently composed the music for the film as a refuge to go with me on that journey, with its people and its places. I created the leading character, “Pat”, a potential painter, so that he could travel with me. Using meetings for my fiction, with its situations, both absurd and real. This is a film which wants to devour itself.
