Katarína Hlinčíková (1985, Trenčín, Slovakia) is a documentary film director from Slovakia. She studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava on Documentary Film Department. Before, she obtained master degree in Cultural Studies on Comenius University in Bratislava. She made 13 school films, some of them were presented on the film festivals in Slovakia (Artfilm, Cinematik, IFF Bratislava, DOCsk Košice, Áčko, Febiofest) and also abroad (Cinemaiubit Bucurest, IFF Trieste, FRKA Zagreb, Tampere). Her film With her without her won a prize in Cinemaiubit Bucurest, Romania for the best documentary film. The next film No Closet Issue was nominated for the school prize and was chosen for the presentation DVD of the school: The Golden Section 2012. She works as a director for Slovak TV.
