Tomáš Weinreb (born February 14, 1982) studied at the Private Higher Vocational School of Film in Písek and graduated in 2009 with a degree in documentary filmmaking from FAMU. He completed his studies with a short documentary about Olga Hepnarová's friend, Everything is Crap.
Together with his classmate Petr Kazda, they debuted with the film I, Olga Hepnarová, which was the opening film in the Panorama section at the 2016 Berlinale. The film was screened at more than 100 festivals worldwide as part of the competition or official selection and showcase (Guadalajara, Hong Kong, Montreal, Melbourne, Haifa, Taipei, São Paulo, Karlovy Vary, Reykjavík, Seville, Ghent, Goa, Trieste, Gothenburg, Krakow, Warsaw, etc.)."
