Luján Montes is a a filmmaker and photographer. Her work explores the edges between documentary and experimental cinema. She co-directed the independent and collective films: Impreso en Chilavert: Experiencia filmada (2006) and String Theory (2011). She also directed numerous short films in super 8 and 8 mm formats. Her works have been shown at several national and international film festivals, such as BAFICI (ARG), Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin (FR), and The FIlmmaker’s Coop (US). In 2018, she co-directed the film El ruido son las casas premiered at BAFICI and FIDMARSEILLE, where it got a Special Mention in the First Film Competition. Her second documentary is A few notes about MMM (2023). Both films were supported by the Argentine Cinema Institute (INCAA).
