Deng Nan-guang (Taiwan)

Taiwanese filmmaker Deng Nan-guang (1907-1971) studied in Japan in the 1920s. Starting in the 1930s, he captured happenings on the streets, everyday situations of the Taiwanese. He later ran a camera shop in Taipei. He dedicated himself to photography until he died. is powered by Doc Alliance, a creative partnership of 7 key European documentary film festivals. Our aim is to advance the documentary genre, support its diversity and promote quality creative documentary films.
