Born in 1980, graduated from spanish filology & cultural studies, PhD in political science. She worked as a guide in Africa and Latin America. She is a lecturer at the Institute of Iberian and Ibero-American Studies, at the University of Warsaw. Translator and author of articles on Latin America. Her academic interests include secularization theories and socio-political problems. Tourists is her directorial debut.
