Ascanio Petrini (1979) was born in Bari, Italy. Graduated from DAMS, he directed various short films including Piscio, presented at the Corto Dorico Film Festival, finalist in the Nie Wiem section. His first documentary Salva la Cozza was selected at the Sguardi Altrove Festival in Milan and at the RIFF in Rome. He worked as first assistant director on several films, Italian and international. Tony Driver is his first feature film.
