Barbora Sliepková (Slovakia)

Barbora Sliepková (1993) studied documentary direction at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. Her short film About My Sister (2016) won at 24th MFFK Febiofest: Jury Prize for Best Film and Audience Award. She directed the episode Xenophobia for the documentary series entitled Unsung Heroes (2018) and she prepared an episode about Viera Mecková for the series of portraits of Slovak architects, Icons (2020), called Symbiosis (2020). Her film Lines won an award in the Eastern Promises category at the IFF Karlovy Vary.
