She graduated from FAMU (t/n: Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague) in 1996, majoring in screenplay and dramaturgy. As a screenwriter, dramaturge (creative group Helena Slavíková and Alice Nemanská) or director, her name is connected with several authorial documentaries and journalistic programmes made for Czech Television (Chikopelo, Hornby – a Different Reality, Three Lessons on Independence, Deportation, Journey to Paris, The Man They Want, The Most Secret Wish, Cuckoos). She collaborated with Petr Zelenka on Mňága – Happy End (1996), Buttoners (1997) and Loners (2000). She played lovers with David Černý in a short story Civilisation Habits, which is a part of Buttoners. As a producer, she collaborated with a director Marcel Bystroň on Convertible (2001) and she was a supervisor for HBO feature documentary For the Light in Darkness (2012). Her first feature film Marbles (2008) was awarded a Gold prim during the Czech Film Comedy Festival. Following films were Alma (2010) and She Will Make Mincemeat Out of You (2013). Nowadays, she has been preparing TV mini-series Loners' Children and a short authorial documentary Three Grandpas.
