Mirco Marmiroli (1984) graduated in cinema in 2009 at the University of Bologna. He has been producing videos and documentaries since 2010. In 2012 he made “Prospekt lenina” a 50’ documentary shot in Russia, that won a number of awards by several national festivals. In 2013 he went to Haiti with Italy’s major newspaper Il sole 24 Ore to document living conditions and the state of orphanages in the country’s capital after the earthquake. In 2014 he realized “Ma siamo andati avanti”, a feature film on the popular festivals of major newspaper l’Unità since the late 1940s. In the same year, he took part at “Tellurica - racconti dal cratere” project on the 2012 Emilia earthquake with the short film “Wang”. He is currently working on a reportage project in the Balkans area, “The Wall Fell yesterday”.
