Alexandra Kandy Longuet was born in Paris. Graduated from the Paris-Cergy National School of Arts and the Paris III University, she was involved in several exhibitions. After traveling in Russia and Argentina, she began to study film in Belgium. Her first documentary, As She Left (2012), received the Grand Prix at the Festival Message to Man. She was one of the 2017 laureates of the Scam’s star for New Orleans, Shipwrecked America. She also makes radio documentaries for RTBF and France Culture.
