Born 1973 in Switzerland. Works as an ethnomusicologist, creative artist and music journalist. Founder and director of the platform Norient and curator of the annual Norient Film Festival. Has published books on music and globalization, leads research projects at the Bern University of Art, produced broadcasts, podcasts and audio-visual performances and co-curated the exhibition Seismographic Sounds – Visions of a New World.
