Jorge Juárez has a degree and PhD in Audiovisual Communications from the Complutense University of Madrid and a diploma in the specialty of Film Directing from the ECAM. In the last decade, he has directed several short films which have been selected and awarded at national and international festivals, including Los intrusos, Ártico extremo and Cines Luna, as well as numerous music videos and commercials. He has worked as an assistant director on films by Javier Rebollo, Álvaro Fernández Armero and Federico Veiroj. He is currently teaching mis-en-scene, editing and image theory at the Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid.
