Ralf Kukula, born in 1962 in Dresden, is a German filmmaker and director. He studied fine art and graphic design from 1979-81. From 1991-98, he worked as a freelance producer, writer and cinematographer for documentaries and animation films, and in 1999 he joined Balance Film, where he is now managing director.
