Sol Bolloqui is a filmmaker, programmer and writer from Argentina. She studied Image and Sound Design at the University of Buenos Aires, where she met Fermín Acosta and Lucía Salas with whom she directed the film Implantación (2016) that was screened at the 18th BAFICI (Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival) and at the IV Transcinema (Lima, Peru) and the short films Los exploradores (2016) and Implantación (2011) that was screened at festivals such as the Toulouse Recontres Cinémas d'Amérique Latine (2012), the Latin American Film Festival of La Havana in Cuba (2012) and the 26th Mar del Plata International Festival. She is part of RABIA, a filmmakers collective and researchers of radical audiovisual narratives within the latin american field. Artistic director and co-curator of RABIA Latin American Contemporary Film Festival based in Buenos Aires. She is currently working on her first solo documentary project Mujer Periferia, selected in the FIDBA laboratory (International Documentary Festival of Buenos Aires).
