Ane Irazabal Elkorobarrutia and Cosimo Caridi are Spanish and Italian journalists who work in crisis areas. They have been following the refugees’ drama both in Africa, the Middle East and Europe, focusing on women rights and children's education. Awlad is their first feature film documentary.
