Sophie Bösker (*1990 in Germany) studied Literature, Arts and Media at the University of Konstanz from 2010 - 2014, where she began to produce her first short films. After completing another Bachelor in Design & Art at the Free University of Bolzano, Italy, she finished the master programme Social Design – Art as Urban Innovation at the University of Applied Arts Vienna in 2020. Her work includes projects in fine art, video and conceptual design. All of her projects are dealing with well-researched fundamental social, political or ecological issues. The aim of her work is to deal with contemporary and socially relevant issues in a humorous and subtle way to initiate thought processes that are crucially needed in a time of capitalism, globalisation and consumption.
