Laway Talay (Taiwan)

Laway Talay is a Pangcah filmmaker born in 1961 in Taitung, Taiwan. After graduating from a vocational high school, he went to northern Taiwan at the age of 18, and worked as a draughtsman, a model maker, and an equipment operator. At the age of 38, he attended the Full Shot Foundation's Local Documentary Filmmakers Training Scheme, beginning to document the stories and culture of the Pangcah people.
