Ana Paula Junqueira studied Visual Arts at Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, in Brazil, where she learned art history, sculpture, photography and drawing, but paused her studies there to start attending film school at University of Beira Interior, in Portugal. Here she performed in her academic pursuit as a director and director's assistant, art director’s assistant, director of photography’s assistant, editor, sound director and screenwriter.
