Filmmaker Juan Carlos Sato Martínez is from Chile. His first medium-length documentary Patria Dulce (2017) was screened at the 19th Cine de Lebu International Festival. He presented his second film, the short investigative documentary Interference (2021), at the Santiago, Buenos Aires, and Sao Paulo festivals. The Ji.hlava IDFF will present it in its European premiere.
