Roser Corella (Barcelona, 1978) is an independent documentary filmmaker based in Berlin. She began her career as a video journalist for Catalan public television in Spain, but her interest in the human stories behind global issues led her to start self-producing and to develop a personal voice within documentary filmmaking. Her work is characterized by a strong visual approach and a focus on social and political realities. Influenced by the auteur tradition, she combines creative documentary storytelling with investigative journalistic research. Her award-winning documentaries, including Room without a View, Grab and Run, Prisoners of Kanun (short), and Machine Man (short), have been screened at numerous international film festivals. Driven by a long-standing commitment to documentary cinema, she continues to seek stories that not only observe reality but also question and critically engage with contemporary societies.
