Hope Strickland (United Kingdom)

Hope Strickland is a researcher and artist filmmaker from Manchester, UK. Her current work is concerned with postcolonial ecologies and the bonds between resource extraction and racial violence; as well as the temporal fractures and intimacies that can be found in working across archival, digital and 16mm film practices. Hope's work has been screened internationally at film festivals including the 59th New York Film Festival, the 60th Ann Arbor Film Festival and the BFI London Film Festival.
