Lize Cuveele (Belgium, 1997) graduated in Royal Institute of Theater, Cinema and Sound (RITCS) in Brussels with 'Blue Bed', a short documentary about a young couple shown solely in their bed. In her work, she focusses on her characters and their world of sentiment. She makes atmospheric documentaries about socially relevant themes, like the process of a woman’s abortion, beauty standard in our western society and the racism involved, autism, borderline personality disorder and the world of dreams and sleeping disorders. Currently she is developing a children’s documentary and working as a filmfestival coördinator.
