James Le Sueur is a prize-winning independent filmmaker, producer, and director. He is a member of the National Press Club and owner of Fox Hollow Films. He completed his PhD in history at the University of Chicago. At the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, he is the Samuel Clark Waugh Distinguished Professor of International Relations and chair of the Department of History. As a scholar, he writes about the history of ideas and empires and is a Senior Associate Member of St Antony's College, University of Oxford. The Art of Dissent is Le Sueur’s first feature documentary film. His second feature film, Seasons of COVID, focuses on politicization public health and science in the United States during pandemic and is produced by Fox Hollow Films in association with NUtech Ventures. Seasons of COVID will be released in spring 2024.
